Spooky!!!

Mysterious 'ghostly' face of child appears in mobile phone photo of teen pals!
At first glance, it seems to be an ordinary snap of a group of young people. But look more carefully and there appears to be an extraordinary, ghostly presence among them. Peeping out between the knees of two of the girls is the face of a child. defad9c3c07ceed420b7059430106b9d.jpgThe eerie image - clear enough to show a pair of eyes, a nose, a mouth and hair - was captured by 17-year-old Matthew Summers on his mobile phone as he and his friends were preparing to go out.
"I zoomed in to my sister's mate's little sister who was crying and I saw a face," Matthew said. "You can see all the facial expressions and everything.
"I was really shocked because I don't believe in that stuff."

Matthew took the picture in his sister's friend's front room in Billingham, Teesside.

Attention Ladies!

The world's hairiest man is looking for a new love on the internet after breaking up with his girlfriend.

Yu Zhenhuan, recognised in 2002 as the world's hairiest man by the Guinness Book of Records, is using an online dating agency. "I was amazed to see his picture there, since I'd been hearing he was going to get married soon. So I called the media," says the person who broke the story, and who wants to remain anonymous.9c4da60b361e3bf586e1f36ca294b7d5.jpgYu, 29, confirmed: "We got to know each other through the internet, and had been seeing each other for three years. Unfortunately our relationship has come to an end."

And he added: "My whole body is covered with hair, and my parents are worried I won't be able to find a wife. Many girls are shocked when they see me in person. "I feel like King Kong, hideous, but with a soft and tender heart," he told Zhejiang Online.

Mother Marries Foster Son

Weird!

It could hardly have been a quieter wedding, with just two witnesses, one bridesmaid and a dog.

But that was the way Julia Gregg, 34, wanted it when she married 21-year-old Krenar Lleshi - seven years after she and her ex-husband took him into their home as a foster son.
The couple looked after the teenage Kosovan after he was smuggled into Britain in the back of a lorry.
52587799b7f3d7de95bff969855f8dd5.jpg Miss Gregg grew increasingly attached to Krenar as he battled to be allowed to stay in the country. After she and her husband Steve Crandon, 38, split up, she began a love affair with Krenar when he turned 19 and a year later they had a child together.

The couple married on Christmas Eve at their local church, St Anne's in Nantyglo, South Wales, with their one-year- old daughter, Hattie, as bridesmaid, and their dog, Cupe (the name is Albanian for "little girl") as a guest.

Human Magnet

SOME guys have a kind of animal magnetism – but amazing Aurel Raileanu finds just about ANYTHING will stick to him like glue.

The Romanian hospital worker, known as The Human Magnet for his extraordinary ability, can even make a 50lb TV set cling to his chest without the aid of wires, blue or string.
He can pick up electric irons using just his skin’s bizarre ability — and he can clear a table of cutlery faster than an army of waiters.352c3cb4f4ef95ae72ba37e1bd444831.jpg

Now Aurel, who lives in a run-down area of the Romanian capital Bucharest, is building a career on his strange abilities.

When he isn’t glued to the telly, he works as a kineto-therapist — using the healing qualities of his powers to help people recover from accidents.

He admits he cannot explain his gift, which allows many objects — not just metal — to stick to his chest, neck and forehead.

He says: “I tend to keep it secret from people in my home town because I am afraid of being branded a freak in their eyes

Arkansas Couple Welcomes 17th Child!!!

It's a girl — again — for the Duggars. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar welcomed their 17th child, and seventh daughter, into the world Thursday.

a350b4a71bfb518410270d530ae7994d.jpg"We'd love to have more," Michelle said, adding that the girls are outnumbered seven to 10 in the family. "We love the ruffles and lace."

Jennifer joins the fast-growing Duggar brood, who live in Tontitown in a 7,000-square-foot home. All the children — whose names start with the letter J — are home-schooled.

The oldest is 19 and the youngest, before Jennifer, is almost 2 years old. The family includes two sets of twins.

The Duggars have been featured on several programs on cable's Discovery Health Network. The next special, the Duggar Family Album, is scheduled to air next month, Jim Bob Duggar said.

Among the "fun facts" listed on Discovery Health's Web page devoted to the Duggars: A baby has been born in every month except June; the Duggars have gone through an estimated 90,000 diapers, and Michelle, 40, has been pregnant for 126 months — or 10.5 years — of her life.

New 7 Wonders

The Pyramid at Chichén Itzá (before 800 A.D.) Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico is now part of the new 7 wonders!
Chichén Itzá, the most famous Mayan temple city, served as the political and economic center of the Mayan civilization. The Mayan name "Chich'en Itza" means "at the mouth of the well of the Itza (people).

"Its various structures - the pyramid of Kukulkan, the Temple of Chac Mool, the Hall of the Thousand Pillars, and the Playing Field of the Prisoners – can still be seen today and are demonstrative of an extraordinary commitment to architectural space and composition. The pyramid itself was the last, and arguably the greatest, of all Mayan temples.

Since the Yucatán Peninsula has no rivers, the three natural sinkholes (cenotes) at Chichén Itzá made it
a good place for a city, providing plenty of water all year. Two of these cenotes still exist—the most
famous is the "Cenote of Sacrifice," sacred to the Maya rain god Chaac. Offerings of jade, pottery and
incense were thrown into the well, and occasionally, during times of bad drought, a human sacrifice.
However, there is no proof to the legend that many beautiful, young women were sacrificed.

About 987, a Toltec king named Quetzalcóatl (there is a wonderful legend about him, who became the
Maya plumed serpent god Kukulcan) arrived with an army from central Mexico, and, with local Mayan
allies, made Chichén Itzá his capital. The art and architecture from this period are a mix of Maya and
Toltec styles, such as the "Temple of the Warriors," which features an altar statue known as a chac mool.
In the center of Chichén Itzá is the Temple of Kukulcan, often called "El Castillo" (the castle). It is a step
pyramid, with square terraces and staircases up each of the four sides to the temple on top.

Great sculptures of plumed serpents run down the northern staircase and, because of how the shadows fall,
seem to move on the spring and fall equinoxes. Inside, visitors can enter an older pyramid and climb up
to the high room with King Kukulcan's stone Jaguar Throne, painted red with jade-green spots.
There is also a large court at Chichén Itzá for playing a game called “pok ta pok,” which we think involved
throwing a ball through a ring on the wall seven meters (around 23 ft) above the ground. The captain of
the team that first scored was beheaded as a sacrifice to the gods and thought to rise directly to heaven.
In 1221, a revolt and civil war broke out and the wooden roofs of the great market and the Temple of the
Warriors were burnt at that time. Chichén Itzá lost power, as rulership over Yucatán shifted to Mayapan.
